Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of StackPilot. By using the Service you agree to them. Last updated 21 June 2026.

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and the operator of StackPilot (the “Service”, “we”, “us”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Your use is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

2. The Service

StackPilot is a curated directory and AI matcher that helps you discover AI tools. Recommendations are informational and editorial — they are not professional, legal, financial, or procurement advice. Tool details, especially pricing and limits, change frequently; always confirm specifics on a tool’s own website before relying on them.

3. Accounts

To use certain features you must create an account. You must provide accurate information, be at least 16 years old, keep your credentials secure, and accept responsibility for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at hello@stackpilot.ai if you suspect unauthorized use.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • scrape, crawl, or bulk-extract the directory except via any interface we expressly provide;
  • disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure;
  • submit unlawful, infringing, misleading, or malicious content; or
  • misuse the AI matcher to generate unlawful, harmful, or abusive content.

5. Your submissions

When you submit a tool or other content, you confirm you have the right to do so and grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content within the Service. Submissions are reviewed before publication, and we may edit, decline, or remove any submission at our discretion — for example, if it is inaccurate, spammy, or violates these Terms.

6. Paid plans and billing

Paid plans (“Pro”) unlock additional features. Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider acting as merchant of record; your purchase is also subject to their terms. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically for the same period until cancelled, and you can cancel at any time to stop future renewals — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable. We may change plan pricing prospectively, with notice for active subscribers.

7. Third-party tools and links

The Service links to third-party tools and websites we do not control and do not endorse by listing. Your use of any third-party tool is governed by that provider’s own terms. Some links may be affiliate links, which are labeled as such and never influence how tools are ranked or described.

8. Intellectual property

The Service — including its design, branding, original copy, rankings, and code — is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. Tool names and logos belong to their respective owners.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that directory information (including pricing) is complete, current, or accurate.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD 100.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service or its users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of the Service is established, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of that jurisdiction will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except where applicable consumer-protection law grants you rights in your place of residence.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We will revise the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
